Marina di Bibbona is a small seaside hamlet in the municipality of Bibbona. It’s a peaceful seaside town, very convenient to explore by bicycle, with numerous shops and recreational activities nearby famous amusement parks and in an excellent position to visit Tuscany.
The sea has been awarded the Blue Flag for many years, guaranteeing clean and clear waters. The sandy seabed, soft and golden, offers tourists a clean and beautiful beach. There are numerous tourist attractions for families and young people, as well as bars and restaurants.
Marina di Bibbona derives its name from the numerous Etruscan necropolises, mainly located between the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia, which was originally the only Etruscan city built along the coastal strip. The name later extended to the entire coastline of the province of Livorno, largely corresponding to the Livorno Maremma.
The coast is mainly low and sandy between Rosignano Solvay to the north and the Gulf of Baratti to the south, with beaches generally golden in color, except for the coastal stretch between Rosignano Solvay and Vada, where the striking White Beaches extend.
